Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), an autonomous society under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India has been set up with distinct focus to boost up Software export from the country.
STPI-Gandhinagar is one of the eleven STPI jurisdictions having its main centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat established in 1991 and subsequently, one sub-centre located at Surat established in 2016. There is a wide presence of IT/ITeS/ESDM companies under the jurisdiction of STPI-Gandhinagar. STPI registered IT/ITeS/ESDM units under STPI-Gandhinagar jurisdiction contributed Rs. 6,880.26 crore export in FY 2022-23.
